I’m Sharon, a shape shifter bringing depth
to social endeavours.

Welcome to my digital domain! I’m Sharon Chigozie Ubani, and I proudly wear the badge of a professional shapeshifter. I work with educators, learners and organisations who support individuals from marginalised communities to create meaningful gatherings and narratives. I aim to humanise the journey towards social change and provide support in navigating the inevitable discomfort that arises along this path, collaborating with individuals to explore innovative ways we can collectively shape radically positive futures.

Pillars of my work

  • Education & research

Striving to offer education that broadens learners’ perspectives and encourages critical self-reflection, I embrace the role of a lifelong student alongside them. My main experience lies with teaching children aged 10-12. I employ the curiosity jointly cultivated in class when conducting (user) research and impact evaluations as well.

  • DEI facilitation

I lead thought-provoking discussions on diversity, equity and inclusion, primarily with in the realm of education. I love to make these conversations as personal as possible and believe that storytelling is a crucial element of them. Drawing upon theories advanced by Black feminine and queer people globally, I uncover manifestations of exclusion within specific contexts and guide partners in collaborative efforts to enact positive change.

  • Project management & innovation strategy

Using my eye for detail and strong human-centered values, I provide project management services to ensure organisations can focus on adding value for their beneficiaries. As an innovation strategist, I provide the compassionate reality checks necessary for organisations to keep meeting the needs of folks interested in social change and people who hold (multiple) marginalised identities.
